About Parasailing Boats
Last updated: May 2, 2026
Our story
Parasailing Boats began as a side project between two parasailing captains who were tired of fragmented, outdated information scattered across forums and supplier brochures. What started as a shared spreadsheet of boat specs grew into a full editorial operation covering equipment, manufacturers, training, safety, and everything in between.
Our mission
Making parasailing knowledge accessible to everyone.
We believe a safer, more transparent parasailing industry benefits operators, passengers, and the sport itself. Every guide we publish is written to inform — never to sell — and we maintain strict editorial independence from manufacturers and dealers.
What we cover
- Equipment — winches, parasails, harnesses, tow lines, and onboard hardware
- Manufacturers — long-form profiles of established and emerging boat builders
- Buying guides — for both new and used parasailing boats
- Training — captain courses and operator education
- Safety — checklists, weather decision-making, real incident learnings
- Certifications — USCG, PAPO, WSIA and international standards
- Lifestyle — destinations, culture, and community
Editorial independence
We do not accept payment from manufacturers in exchange for coverage. Affiliate links, when present, are clearly labeled and never influence our editorial judgment.
